Mass recall of mails to public folder

Hi Folks

I recall having an issue like this some time ago where we had a large amount of mail in a public folder that was archived by differant people and not the public folder task. 

Basically we had to get in and recall the mail at what i think was 250 at a time because that was the limit imposed by EV.

We are on 11.0.1 now so my basic question is

"is there a better way to mass recall items to a public folder then doing it manually"

If a third party tool could be used could you suggest one and advise on probable costs?
